On July 19 there was overwhelming local
support for public schools in New Orleans. The public school millage
renewal passed 88% to 12% Use this link to
understand why it was so important to renew this critical support for
all New Orleans public schools. Charter, Recovery School District and
Orleans Parish School Board managed schools will not lose local funding
because voters supported the renewal as never before.
